Architecture & History

Candia Park Village was originally built in 1992. The project was undertaken by architects Vassilis Rodatos and Alexis Tobazis. In 2000 after an extensive renovation Seafront Apartments were added to the Village. Another renovation in 2007 improved even more the facilities of the resort. Candia Park Village is modeled on a traditional Cretan Village with 222 two-storey homes with a balcony or veranda. Arranged in neighborhoods within the gardens with narrow streets, its layout is characterized by simplicity and functionality. The square with the clock and the Greek Kafenion add to the charm of this picturesque village.
