 "We do local" Presentation at the General Assembly of the Union of Hoteliers of Rhodes
With great interest, are being continued the presentations that are organized by the Local Production & Hosting S.A. company for the promotion of the new tourist facilities certification standard, created to diversify our tourism product.
The «We do local» was presented at the ordinary General Assembly of the Union of Hoteliers of Rhodes, held on Thursday 08 December 2016 in the Commercial and Industrial Chamber of Dodecanese at Rhodes.
This is the annual gathering of Rhodes Hotel owners in which they present the management accounts and the future actions of the Union as well as various issues related to the tourism product of the region.
In that meeting, the Hoteliers of Rhodes had the opportunity to learn from Mr. Chalkiadakis Nikos shareholder of the Local Production & Hosting S.A. company and the Communication & Promotion Department of «We do local» about this new model, regarding the procedures and the certification benefits of their businesses.

We do local is a certification standard which was created by the mature cooperation of Local Production and Hospitality SA, Cosmocert SA and Local Food Experts sce.

The businesses (Hotels & Ships) certified by the We do local Standard:
 
- support the production, economy and human resources of the place they are situated in
- promote their uniqueness and the responsibility of hospitality
- offer services which promote the local culture and gastronomy
- respect the environment and the sustainability of their homeland

Businesses wishing to be certified by We do local must meet some specific criteria that focus indicatively on:

Licenses - Certifications - Awards 
Social - Labor 
Architecture - Infrastructure - Surroundings 
Social events - Local Culture 
Environment - Sustainability 
Food & Beverage Areas 

The Integration Process in We do local includes:

- Acceptance of the Specifications criteria of We do local, depending on the activity of the enterprise, check and reply them.
- Acceptance of the Price List
- Submission of Application - Cooperation Agreement
- Acceptance of the Special Rules and the Guideline of Integration Process
- Site Inspection
- Evaluation, certification and integration in We do local
